Welcome to Siddhi Vinayak College

Siddhi Vinayak College of Science & Hr. Education is a pioneer College well established in the year 2006 to promote educational system and to impart latest technique instruction to the B.Ed trainees. The college is recognized by Rajasthan Government and is affiliated to the R.R.B.MATASYAUNIVERSITY ALWAR.

The college is also recognized by the National Council of Teacher Eduacation (NCTE), Jaipur. The college has highly qualified and well trained staff that impart learning skills to the trainees with dedication and zeal. The College has all the facilities for this programme. Besides, eight compulsory papers, the college offers five options, namely Population Education, Educational and Vocational Guidance, Elemantary Education, School Library, Measurement & Evaluation, Physical Education and Measurment and Environmental Education. In papers V and VI the college offers choice of 10 subjects namely, Teaching of English, History, Hindi, Sanskrit, Economics, Social studies civics, Chemistary, General Science and Commerce.

The College has highly equipped separate laboratories in social studies science. The psychology lab is equipped with modern psychology test and material. The computer lab has new computers, printers and scanner exclusively for the benefit of the students in the college. The Audio-Visual room is equipped with Television, CD Player, Projectors, Maps, Models, Tape-recorder, and CD's of Educational films etc.

The college library is fully computerized and sufficient to cater the needs of students. The library is equipped with Reference books, Textbooks, Commission reports, Journals and magazines. The library also provides different national and local daily newspaper in English and Hindi.

There is a hostel for girls with all the facilities to meet the needs of the students. Proper care is given to the students who are provided with ventilated rooms and hygienic food in a homely atmosphere.

B.Ed. Programme (Duration : 2 Years)

Bachelor of Education or B. Ed. is an undergraduate program of 2-year duration.The course specifically caters to the students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and related fields. It is a skill based training program which imparts knowledge to students regarding all aspects of classroom teaching.

The 2-year program is generally divided into four semesters by the institutes and structured in a way that not only involves classroom based teaching, but also practical training and internships. Candidates must be aware of B.Ed syllabus for a better understanding of the course. Various B.Ed.

• Educational Evaluation and Assessment
• Educational Psychology
• Guidance and Counselling
• Holistic Education
• Philosophy of Education

Any student, who wishes to make a career in the field of teaching, has to undergo the process of learning all the necessary aspects of education. One must pursue the course in order to be eligibile for teaching at high school level. This course demands students to be vocal and fluent in their speech. They must also be good at problem-solving since teaching at high school level is a very challenging job.

Seats in B.Ed Course

Candidates aspiring for B.Ed. course are required to meet certain criteria before filling out the application for B.Ed. entrance examination. Following are the eligibility criteria:

Eligibility – I

1. A Bachelor's degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised university with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with 55% aggregate marks in 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern.

2. At least two subjects studied at the Bachelor's level, which needs to be taken as school teaching subjects in B.Ed. course with at least 50% aggregate marks in both subjects.

Eligibility – II

1. A Master's degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognised university with a subject that needs to be taken as a teaching subject, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
2. A Master's degree in Commerce from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
3. A Master's degree in Philosophy, Sociology or Psychology from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
4. At least one subject studied at the Bachelor's degree level, which needs to be taken as a teaching subject later, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
5. A Master's degree in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
6. At least two subjects studied at the Bachelor's degree level, which needs to be taken as teaching subjects later, with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Admission Procedure

  • Students required to appear in an entrance test conducted by …………. for admission in various teaching institutions attached with it according to the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam.

  • These exams are generally held in the month of June-July and consist of Objective type questions about English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states.
